This is a compilation of 2D-zoetrope animations from the past few years between 2019 and 2020. These are physical zoetrope discs spinning on a turntable. The animations are not visible and appear as a blur to the naked eye. The video clips were recorded at 24 FPS and turntable speed at 45 RPM. It is the synchronicity of the number of drawings, the recorded frame rate, and the speed of the turntable that creates the illusion of life.
